Okay so first let me start by telling you about my crazy horrible day. Well, come to think of it, it actually begins a couple days ago.
My 5 year old foster daughter has had some strange stomach bug going around school since Thursday. I decided to keep her home yesterday. She spent a majority of the day laying on the couch watching old Woody Woodpecker cartoons and having her every need met by her personal nursemaid. (me) While I tried to lose myself on the Internet last night, she fell asleep in my bed. Which was fine with me because I was really enjoying something I was engaged with at the time. So, around 2 a.m. I decided it was time to bring her to her own bedroom so I could slip into my bed and have a little much needed solo fun. I am on the brink of the best orgasm and I hear this screaming and gagging noises coming from the other end of the hallway. I quickly throw on my bathrobe because I am only wearing a tiny tank top and can't seem to find my panties in the dark. LOL
So I make it to her room and Regan McNeil from the Exorcist is standing on her bed, projectile vomiting. I was seriously waiting for this child's head to spin around. Now I must say, I am one of those people that just can't handle puke. I usually gag just hearing someone vomiting.
So after dropping a vomit bucket in her room, I am desperately searching for medicine to make this stop happening. Thank you pepto! By the time I was done washing sheets and towels and steam cleaning the carpet in her room, she had peacefully gone back to sleep. AMAZING!
By the time I am done taking a shower it's sometime after 4 a.m. and I can barely keep my eyelids open. Guess my solo sex will have to wait.
On to today.. So the baby wakes me up at 6:30ish. My head was pounding and holy shit was I freakin cranky! I run downstairs and grabbed a box of Honey nut Kix and brought the entire thing back, baby gated the stairs and plopped her on the floor of the playroom and turned on Noggin. I then crawled back into my bed that was now occupied by my 3 dogs and a couple of the cats. I picked a small corner and burrowed under my covers. An hour later, I was woken up by all 3 kids who wanted me to make them breakfast.
I didn't realize how much your body can't handle no sleep as an adult until this morning! God, I miss my 20's. The days when I could party all night and go straight to work still drunk off my ass. LOL
So it's pouring here today and kids are loud and going a bit stir crazy from being trapped in the house and dogs are really annoying. Otis, the bulldog is kind of a dick. He has this thing about rain. He refuses to walk out in the grass to go to the bathroom if the grass is wet. This mother fucker took a shit on my patio! It was fucking gross! So here I am hosing my patio off in the pouring rain and I just want to run away from home.
I decide to leave everyone downstairs in the den except for the baby and I retreat to my PC for some much needed fun and exploring. I check out D-listed and what do I find?? This.. http://turdtwister.com/
All I thought about was Sara and her pee pee contraption. LOL Who thinks of this shit? (no pun intended) What would possess a human to invent this?
Sorry it took me so long to get to the point. Just wanted to paint you all a picture so you can all feel better about your lives today. =)

EXCITED ABOUT MONDAY
The weather here in NC can be rather unpredictable at this time of year. For instance, yesterday 2/26, the high for the day was right around the 50 degree mark and today, it is a lovely 72 degrees. Now anyone that knows me, knows I constantly follow the weather. (kind of a passion of mine) On Sunday night, we are expecting yet another cold front to come ripping through here, bringing more snow. Yep, that's right! I said more snow. They say that we should expect a full day of snowfall on Monday. I know most would ask, "How can you be excited about snow?" The answer is, I love how clean and quiet and still everything becomes. It's as if you can hear every single flake touch the ground.
The other thing I enjoy, is cooking a pot of Ribollita. Which is a hearty Italian vegetable soup. It reminds me so much of my childhood and my favorite nonna, Rosa. As a kid, I was lucky enough to have my nonna living with me at home. I remember her putting me up on the counter while she cooked, and the way she spoke to me in her really bad broken english. To be honest, this soup is much more economical to make in the summertime when my beautiful organic garden is in full bloom but, this is why they invented produce markets. LOL
So, when I wake up monday morning, the temperature is supposed to be in the mid-low 30's for this fantastic snowfall event. I will light a fire in the fireplace and get to chopping up all my veggies for this special soup that warms my heart and soul, and floods my brain with the lovliest memories.
Here is my nonna's recipe.
Ribollita
(serves 4-6)
4 Tbs. olive oil
1 large onion
3 cloves of garlic chopped
4 carrots chopped
2 stalks of celery chopped
2 zucchini chopped
1/4 of a savoy cabbage shredded and chopped
2 C of kale shredded and chopped
2 C fresh baby spinach chopped
3 small yukon gold potatoes peeled and cut into little cubes
2 C cooked cannellini beans (puree 1 C and keep 1 C whole) this is one of the thickeners
5 C of broth (i usually use vegetable for this soup but chicken can also be used)
note: keep extra broth on hand to make soup desired thin or thickness
1 large can of peeled whole tomatoes
1 loaf of stale desired bread (preferred would be italian, french or sour dough) just leave out on counter for 24 hours exposed to air. (cut into cubes as this is your other thickener)
grated parmesan cheese
good quality olive oil
Directions
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot and sauté the onion over low heat until it begins to caramelize; add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute; add all the remaining vegetables; season to taste and stir to mix; cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the vegetables have reduced in volume by half; stir again and add broth; bring to a boil and then lower the heat; add the tomatoes and stir.; cover and cook the soup for 1 hour; add the beans both pureed and whole.
2. Stir in the bread cubes until the bread has turned into a mush (this takes about 10-15 minutes); if the soup is too thick, thin with more stock to suit your taste.
3. Serve at table with freshly-cracked black pepper, grated parmesan cheese, and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.

Sexual Desires
You drink the whole mouth of my body,
devouring me with your tongue and lips.
French kisses in the deepest places,
pressing deeply into my flesh,
moist and trembling, lost in ecstasy.
You twist my body into every position,
hungry for every part of me at once.
You bring me to your mouth,
as though I were a morsel of food.
Hot spices causing you to break out in a sweat.
I am submissive in my pleasure-
doing anything you desire.
I'm wanting and needing all you have to give.
I am soft as cotton against your body,
growing even softer beneath your fingertips.
You leave nothing untouched,
crossing the surface of my body,
and retreating into the deeper parts of my being.
A fire explodes in time with your rhythm,
two bodies turning and burning in a dance.
We undulate like waves upon the ocean,
with you crouching like a lion over my back.
You paws digging into my hips,
pulling me tward the voracious head- thrusting deeper.
It's the most marvelous intensity i've ever known.
Our bodies soldered together,
sweat- wet, then fell, exhausted, in unbearable pleasure.
devouring me with your tongue and lips.

Passion:
Dark halls, long, never ending steps that reach a place of familiarity.
Nervousness, confusion, all which describe the inflammation of our hearts.
Leaning against the dark wall, camouflaging, until the long streaks of moonlight pervade its way.
My legs spread apart, while yours find their way.
Did you feel that?
Our eyes fixed upon the innocent, yet motionless lips awaiting their fate.
No! Don't reach. It's a gradual thing.
The path of our lips, take a different course.
They meet perpendicularly.
The cold shudders rush through our bodies, as my nails find their way along your back and penetrate slowly, but not harshly.
The warmth of your tongue along my entire body, invading every part of my soul.
My eyes closed, my head relaxed, all while in a state of ecstasy.

The things that make me smile... (my menagerie)
this is mimi. (she is a great snuggler)
this is gracie lou freebush. she is kind of a bitch. she is one of those cats that appears to be very sweet. she will lick you and be all nice and just when you let your guard down she bites you.

this is cinnamon. she is the cat that keeps order in the house and god forbid you step out of line.. you get a brooklyn cat beatdown. (this includes her humans as well as other fur-siblings)

this is louie. she likes to think she's running the show around here but, cinnamon keeps her ass in check. she is one of those dogs that, because of her small stature, she feels she has to "act" tough. i have watched her launch herself at the front door when someone comes over and when you open the door to let her prove herself a worthy guard dog, she hauls ass to the furthest room in the house and can usually be found trembling under a piece of furniture. LOL

this is smokey and blue. smokey is the one yawning. they will actually be 2 on march 7th. i just felt the need to put up this photo of them as babies because they were freakin cute. they are still really cute but have changed alot. (i will put up more recent photos of them another time so you can see how much they have changed) smokey is very protective of his sister blue and can usually be found sleeping with her or on her.

this is bailey. she's my lab/sheppard mix. she is as sweet as she looks and can usually be found with the kids. (either being layed on or rode) LOL

lastly we have otis. he is the baby of the family and the largest. he is an american bulldog. he is only 7 months old and already pushing 100lbs. this pic. was taken during a recent snow storm. it was his first experience with snow and he LOVED it! i always wanted a bulldog but had no idea just how stubborn he would be. (or how gassy) this guy farts and can clear a room in seconds. LOL he is a great protection dog though! when he barks, people generally will walk in another direction. (note: great dog for keeping those early moring bible thumpers away from your house as well as anyone soliciting)

Silent Tears

Inside my heart is breaking
although you can't see it.
I mask the pain
hiding behind my laughter, pretending not to care.
I hold the tears inside
causing them to build.
Creating a torrent of sorrow
that surrounds my heart.
The more I hold the tears
the deeper my despair.
Flooding my heart
with immense pain.
Filling me with darkness
and complete misery.
As I drown silently
in my own tears.
Editors note: I know this is depressing as hell but, I have a husband that is in Iraq and I miss him terribly! You might see a lot of these over the next 5 months.

Without the perception of tomorrow,
I wandered this planet.
An existance, built on mere fragments.
The regrets of yesterday have ceased.
My fear of what could be,
is now gone.
The overwhelming vines of the thorned path,
have fallen.
Blessed perception,
has illuminated the twisted, to be straight.
Oh father time;
my favorite nemesis,
whose features always dark,
have transformed to the warm smile of an old age friend.
Remarkable,
is the power of the enlightened soul.
One step forward,
enables leaps of faith.
