Fill me now with words of heart,
so my joy may be complete.
Kiss me now and be a part,
of my love that's true and unique.
Place your hand touching mine,
so i'll always know your there.
Talk to me with eyes divine,
and tell me that you care.
Sweep me off my feet at night,
tightly keeping your hold.
Whisper softly into my ear,
Be strong, be proud, be bold.
Caress me as I taught you how,
your touch so warm and tender.
If you do these things I tell you now,
to you, i'll surrender. KLE 2009
Note from author: All poetry put up on this site is copyright protected. I don't mind if you want to share the poems with a friend or link them on your blog, as long as you don't try to pass them off as your own. The reason for this message is, I recently was e-mailed one of my own poems that was being passed around in those chain mails with someone else getting credit for writing it. It is now under investigation since ALL of my work is protected through the Library of Congress.

oh it is awful when people take ideas and words and try to pass them off as their own. i hate that.
ReplyDeletehonestly when i got the e-mail i was shocked to see someone elses name on it. had they just credited me for the work, i would have been flattered that my poetry was circulated on the internet. now, i have to deal with the BS of them trying to track down the source. (the one who claimed credit for the work)
ReplyDeletejust makes me really mad.. just enjoy the work, share it but give the credit for it, ya know?
i agree with drollgirl over there.
ReplyDeleteMan. Some people suck hairy dog balls.
ReplyDeleteNot you though! I can tell from your poem that you are a big softie, with a lot of love in ya!
