just popping in to say hi

Just wanted to stop by and say hi to all my friends.. Hi friends!

Things have been crazy around here lately. I have been through the ringer. You know the old addage "when it rains it pours"? This has been my life since late this summer. First losing my dad to cancer in late August, then my kitty died Christmas morning, getting past my dads birthday this month, suffering through a horrible sinus infection and pneumonia in both lungs, which I am almost recovered from now and lastly, dreading my upcoming 38th birthday this month. Oh yeah, one more thing... got word this past month that Keith my husband will once again be deploying.   It's a while off but, just knowing it's coming kind of sucks.

I am hoping that god is done testing me now because quite frankly i've had more then enough shit in my life and, it's time for a little happy.. A batch of delicious cupcakes would be amazing right about now. My FAVORITE kind is red velvet with that delicious cream cheese frosting.. HINT HINT.. My birthday is fast approaching!! LOL I'd make them myself since we have no bakerys or cupcake places here but, as all my friends know, i'm a cook. I can't bake to save my life!! (can't even make the kind that comes in the box) I always manage to fuck those up too! =)Hell, I'd even be willing to pay any of you who live near sprinkles to pick me up a large box of them and somehow figure out a way to ship um to me without smushing um if it's even possible.. Drop me a line if you are willing....

I miss you guys and hope you are all okay.. I am really gonna try to start posting more..
