Penny this is Cleo  (she passed away like 4-5 years ago) I swear if it's possible to have a soulmate, this was mine. She was the love of my life. She'd lie on the couch sideways like this and grab ya when ya walked by her. Man i miss her!!

  1. I need to be stopped from watching 'True Life' and 'secret lives of women'...I'm watching way too much. :)
The pics of ur dad make me want to cry! Such a blessing to have a great dad I think. U can see it in their eyes when someone is a loving dad-the one where he's huggin Diva reminds me of how my dad looks with Jasmine. I sent u the one of her in her jacket with him, but I have better one where she's trying to be close up near his face as she sleep, but she's sliding down onto the arm of his chair-it cracks me up.
I love that they all are so happy and sleep together like baby birds! Ur right about Jasmine and Katy-we need to let them hiss it out. Is it okay for me to let them bite on eachother tho? I'm just worried cuz Jasmine is so docile, and doesn't seem to know what to do and Katy really bites her-will one come out as dominant and the "fight" will be over? ANd-Did u leave urs together with u not in the room? like 24/7-or was it gradual? I don't want to leave them and have something serious happen. I've been putting them together for 30 minutes a day for like 3 weeks, and it's not getting better-i dunno if i should just let them wrestle, or if i should squirt them with water if the bite eachother or what.
Bailey in the chairs is beyond adorable!! Is she/he a lab? I want to find a good dog breed for my dad. He had Berlin(german shorthair pointer) who was the sweetest dog in the world(he would literally hug people-cutie), but he was older when my dad adopted him, so he wasn't here more than 2 years and my dad was so sad. :( My mom wants a small and very well behaved dog tho-their house is very small. She seems to like Corgis, but i need to do more research on the breed...and even then, i have trouble getting an animal from a breeder when the spca puts down so many furry angels each day. (I just found out that happens and freaked out! Jasmine is from the spca in houston, and when we adopted her, she was with a bunch of family members of hers. I can't deal with thinking about what if i hadn't gotten her. I also freaked out when I was told that they put the animals who are closer to being "put down" in the front cages
in a last ditch effort to have them adopted- most are older animals that probably won't be...OMG!)
Ur hub's pic is so beautiful! My dad says he felt so cut off in vietnam. I'm glad we have the internet now for some connection-tho it's not very consistent. What branch is he in?
I actually signed up for "adopt a soldier" yesterday to write letters, e-mails, and send packages to a soldier who gets little to no mail. Unacceptable to me!

Cleo!! I get what u say about the soul mate thing-Jasmine so sweet and funny. She'll hide by the sofa and after someone passes, she'll charge up to their back and jump straight into the air(not upward and forward-just upward) then she pats them on the bottom. It's a surprise attack! :) She runs to the door when I come home-she makes me feel special.
...I'm debating whether to copy this long post into an e-mail or just leave it here...I'll go with the absurdly long post option...just to mix it up. :)
