the bachelor

As much as I'd like to deny watching reality tv, I actually LOVE it! Last season, I was heartbroken for Jason. I was secretly thrilled when I heard he was going to be the new bachelor this season. I followed along like most women and was really liking it. That is until I heard some behind the scenes stuff back in Jan.

Although I knew what was coming tonight, I still had to watch all 3 hours. I was bawling like a baby because of poor Melissa's pain. Jason and Molly are also liars. (they HAD been seeing each other behind her back all along since filming ended) I know, gross right? Jason was also very much aware that Melissa was never the girl for him but picked her because he was contracted by ABC to do so. He was told to pick the other girl so the show could pull better ratings then previous seasons.

So when did peoples feelings become insignificant? They used Melissa, a human being and embarrassed her on national tv for ratings? How fucked up is ABC for allowing this to be done? Sad thing is, everyone has to sign a contract going into the show and, she herself signed one.

I will watch the part 2 of the Final Rose tomorrow night because it was taped this past week. (after the outcome leaked) I'd like to see how ABC will try to spin this. My guess, they will play the "he changed his mind card". Personally, I think they are all a bunch of assholes for this and tomorrow will be the very last show I watch.........
